Partner & Chief Investment Officer of Asset Management Solutions

Case Fell is a partner and chief investment officer of asset management solutions of Third Lake. Case leads the firm’s external fund investments vertical and its outsourced chief investment officer (“OCIO”) platform, including as serving as the chief investment officer (“CIO”) of the asset management solutions platform. Additionally, Case serves on Third Lake’s investment, valuation and allocation committees.

Prior to this, Case served as chief investment officer for the New York State Nurses Association Pension Plan & Benefits Fund for six years and served on the investment team for over fourteen years. As chief investment officer, he was responsible for managing a portfolio of more than $5.5 billion in assets across public and private markets, representing more than 37,000 active and retired nurses.

Case graduated with honors from Texas Tech University’s Rawls College of Business with a Bachelor of Arts in finance and from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School with a Master of Business Administration. Case holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA®”), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (“CAIA®”), Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (“CIPM®”) designations and CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing. He is a member of the CFA Society of Austin, the Allocators Advisory Council with the CAIA Association and a National Board member with the Texas Tech Alumni Association.
